How To Make A Large Guest List Wedding Feel Intimate
Large guest list management is usually one of the biggest stressors for brides. It’s a lot of people to invite, seat, and budget for! Totally understandable. Today I’d like to share some of my top tips to navigate your wedding when you have a lot of people to celebrate with.

Plan How To Socialize
Okay, I don’t mean literally. If you have hundreds of people to mingle with though, you should come up with a game plan for how you’ll see everyone. It’s polite to make sure you at least spend a moment with each guest. One way to do this is to come around to each table during dinner and briefly thank everyone for coming. Another way is to bump up your wedding pictures and spend some time socializing at cocktail hour. These are both great options when you know not everyone will end up on the dance floor with you at the end of the night.
Personalize Where You Can
Favors are a great way to make your large wedding feel intimate. One of my favorite ways is to personalize each favor to the person and put it on their place setting at the table. I know you’re probably thinking woah, that’s a lot of people to personalize for! Instead, for example, you could make a list of everyone who lives out of town and include a note with their favor that says “Thanks for traveling here to celebrate with us on our special day. We can’t wait to visit you sometime!”
Make Them Feel At Home
It’s often a worry that when you have a large guest list, the quality of certain aspects of the event go down. As a guest, it can also be overwhelming sometimes attending a 500+ wedding. The quality doesn’t have to if you’re able to add thoughtful little touches throughout the day. The best part about this one is it also doesn’t have to break the budget! For example, you could add toiletry baskets to all restrooms with a little note from you and your sweetheart. You could also have sunglasses available for guests to wear if it’s sunny during the ceremony. They are generally pretty cheap when bought in bulk too. Adding these little touches will make your guests feel special and welcomed throughout the day.
